Our Mission

We help healthcare providers and leaders around the world prevent and reverse burnout and experience more joy and meaning in the practice of medicine. Our efforts -- based on the core principles of optimal human health, well-being, and performance -- benefit all aspects of patient care and public health.

We nurture and grow a multi-disciplinary community of collaborators working towards a single purpose.

We collect, engage in, and share research into individual and organizational best practices.

We create beacons of hope, including online and live spaces, workshops, and events for sharing real world stories, educational resources, and practical strategies for implementing change.

We partner with wise and compassionate individuals and organizations who provide support and resources that are helping heal the heart of healthcare.

Jonathan Fisher, MD FACC

Co-founder and Chair

I am a Harvard and Mount Sinai-trained physician, practicing clinical cardiologist, certified mindfulness and compassion meditation teacher, and a healthcare organizational resilience and well-being leader for a team of 30,000.

I survived my hidden struggles with anxiety, depression, and burnout, and rediscovered joy and meaning at work the hard way.

This is the summit I wish was around a decade ago when I hit rock bottom; it would have made all the difference.

I am committed to ending the crisis of burnout in healthcare and to optimizing the well-being and peak performance of colleagues, team members and healthcare organizations.

I am a regular invited speaker at medical schools, healthcare organizations and professional societies on the subject of physician burnout and well-being,

I believe we must heal the heart of healthcare. And together we can.

I love sharing evidence-based high-yield easy-to-implement skills and techniques in highly interactive keynotes, workshops, and retreats.
